About

Picture

People who know Kristal say she is a proven leader and influence.

With over twenty years in educational entrepreneurship, coaching, and community building, my open mind and heart supports people of diverse social backgrounds and professional ranks. I consistently demonstrate a style of innovative thinking, flexibility, and effective responses. I have a passion for helping people thrive.

Who is your ideal client and why should they connect with you?
Women and young people who are ready to change and grow into their authentic self are my ideal clients.  Also people looking for relationship coaching and tools to help navigate challenging situations, and people who think they may be in a toxic relationship or people who know someone in a toxic relationship are ideal clients. I aim to help anyone in a high-conflict divorce, or anyone looking to improve mental wellness.

What are you most passionate about professionally and personally?
I am passionate about education, empowerment, and change. I have come so far and learned so much from my darkest times. I want to walk alongside others who are in need of change: I support their personal growth.

What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it?
The interesting thing about me is that everything I am passionate about - education, music, advocacy, helping others recover etc, doesn’t pay as well as other industries.  I have chosen a life of helping others over a life of luxury. In doing so I am very happy and free.  At the same time, I also understand the power of financial freedom. I've learned to manage my money well, live into my values and thrive.  Financial freedom is more than just having lots of money. Its about knowing your authentic self, your dreams and what brings happiness and then manifesting those dreams.

What are you surprisingly good at?
Being open and non-judgmental, being supportive and encouraging, helping others grow into their story; being calm and clear minded in the middle of danger and trauma, thinking outside the box, and problem solving..

What’s the biggest proof that you’re good at what you do?
I've coached hundreds of people, built a thriving music academy, am successfully parenting three little people; and I survived a toxic relationship and high-conflict divorce.  If I can overcome hardships, so can you!

How long have you been working in your field?
Although I have been educating people professionally for over twenty years, I come from a family of educators; it's  in my blood.  I even began teaching and providing child care at the age of fifteen.  Moreover, I have ten years of experience with people with mental illness and toxic personalities and in-the-field training. I have formal certifications and degrees.

What’s your biggest accomplishment?
Walking into my story, surviving, recovering and thriving.

What problems do you consistently solve for your clients?
Helping them to self-validate, to understand they can trust their intuition, and help them believe that not only are they enough but also a powerful agent of change in your life and others.

What are you complimented on most in your work?
Clients say things like, "Wow that really worked!"  "I never thought of that."

"Kristal is able to see the big picture and yet can really help me pinpoint the areas that I am struggling with or blocking my change."

"Talking to Kristal always helps and makes me feel better. I feel more empowered."

"Kristal is supportive and powerful. I have learned so much and begun to live out my dreams"

“the essence of a therapeutic relationship: finding words where words were absent before and, as a result, being able to share your deepest pain and deepest feelings with another human being. This is one of the most profound experiences we can have, and such resonance, in which hitherto unspoken words can be discovered, uttered, and received, is fundamental to healing the isolation of trauma—especially if other people in our lives have ignored or silenced us. Communicating fully is the opposite of being traumatized.”

A Bit About Kristal's Journey
When you think of Kristal, you would never believe that she was a victim of intimate partner violence and abuse.  She came from a conservative family,  began college at the age of 16, received her masters from SFCM by the age of 23, and built the most successful harp academy in the Bay Area. She dated conservatively and married a man that seemed to check all the right boxes.  Their social medial made their life look like they were living the dream, there were happy family photos posted online and in their home, and she never said a word to anyone about what was really going on. She kept her suffering well hidden from others and herself.  She was afraid to acknowledge his destructive and hurtful habits or his alcoholism. She was afraid that telling others would make him look bad or shame her for choosing the wrong man to marry.   For ten years she was the fixer, the helper, the pleaser, and the over-achiever to prove to herself everything was okay. She told herself if she merely tried harder that everything would be okay.  She read every book on relationships, mental illness, and addictions assuming their relationship troubles could be fixed.  Well-intended spiritual leaders  even encouraged her to be a better wife, give more, or try harder. It wasn't until their oldest child became the target of grooming and obsession that she decided it was time for couples
counseling once again. Counseling exposed how deep, toxic, and dangerous the problems were.  As their couples counseling continued and Kristal learned to speak her truth, be authentic and create boundaries, he on the other hand escalated to frighten her into submission and compliance. He began talking about suicide and often hinted at hurting Kristal for her lack of submission. One evening her he talked calmly about his desire to murder her and the kids in a family suicide.  This was the wake-up-call she needed and took steps to get out and get safe.  After getting out was in some ways just the start.   She survived an over four-year high-conflict divorce and a large smear campaign.   Learning about Cluster B personally disorders and how to recover, Kristal has gained invaluable and powerful lessons. She is excited  to help others  into their journey of freedom and success!
